Lacy Holthus, Grant County Library Aide, has resigned as of December 13, 2013 to pursue her business career.  She has taken a position with Rex Ranch as an accounting clerk.  Lacy was a very valuable addition to the Grant County Library for the past 5 years and will be greatly missed.  She was in charge of the Summer Reading Program, the Children’s collection in the library and was very good with technology and the computer center.  We wish her the best in her new endeavor.

Vickie Retzlaff, library director, will advertise for the library aide position mid to late January 2014.  Interviews will be conducted in February 2014 and hope to have someone hired March 2014.  This position is a 12 hr. a week job on Wednesdays and Fridays and pays minimum wage.  We are looking for someone who is strong in leadership, likes children and has some technology experience.  Grant County is an equal opportunity employer and we encourage all interested parties to apply after January 15, 2014.
