The Grant County Library has downsized the bake sale this year due to the uncertainty of the pandemic. We will be selling just decorated Halloween cookies on Wednesday October 28th from 7:30am-4:00pm at the library. We will also be selling raffle tickets towards a $50 gift certificate to Dredlas and an afghan made by Kleo Dredla. Please stop at the library to purchase tickets. Thank you for your support.

The Grant County Library held a 90th birthday celebration along with their holiday open house on December 11th.

The Grant County Library was started in 1929 by the Hyannis Women’s Club.  It was voted as a county library in 1942. The first librarian was Frances Hayward from 1929-1930 twelve since then, including the present director Vickie Retzlaff.  Many area residents have served on the library board or the library foundation board.
